A Year of Tangible Growth
Slowly but surely, the projects spoken about for years, mapped in conversations, and implemented step by step, began to take shape in 2025.
It was a year of momentum. A year where vision became visible.
The Rhythm of Rain
As always, the story begins with rainfall.
Early summer brought average moisture, steady but not remarkable. Then came a late monsoon, arriving just when the land needed it most. The additional rains helped round out the season into a solid year overall.
In Northern New Mexico, rainfall sets the tone for everything else. When the pond fills and grasses respond, the entire ranch breathes differently.

The Hoot Owl Motel: A Rustic Retreat Space
One of the most meaningful accomplishments of 2025 was completing the wood flooring installation in the Hoot Owl Motel cabin.
The flooring was generously donated by Alessandra White, whose support made this transformation possible. Deep gratitude goes to her for contributing to the ranch in such a tangible way.
What was once simply a cabin has now become a small bunk house for retreats and workshops. It remains very rustic, true to the spirit of the land, but it is grounded, warm, and comfortable. A place where simplicity supports presence.

The cabin now stands as a functional, lived-in expression of what the ranch is becoming: a space where people gather, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and the mountains.
Labor Day 2025: The First Men’s Retreat
Most importantly, Labor Day weekend 2025 marked a milestone.
The ranch hosted its first Men’s Retreat.
It was powerful. Rustic. Picturesque. Real.
Men gathered on this mountain land to dig deep, open their hearts, and step into meaningful conversation and growth. The simplicity of the environment, open skies, cool mountain air, wide landscapes, created a container where authenticity could surface naturally.
This was not just a retreat, it was the beginning of a new chapter.
It was the first of many workshops and gatherings that will unfold here in the years ahead.
A Year of Alignment
2025 demonstrated something essential: progress does not always happen in dramatic leaps. It often unfolds quietly, through steady rainfall, a donated floor, a completed cabin, a circle of men sitting together under a vast sky.
Each step builds the foundation.
Each season shapes the land and the vision.
And slowly but surely, the ranch is becoming what it was always meant to be: a place where nature and human transformation meet.
